Dates of Project:
December 1 to 19, 2014

This project will be open to all PreK - 6th grade classes around the world.

Classrooms will be teamed with 29 other classrooms to exchange holiday cards.
PLUS, each classroom is encouraged to send 1 card
to a local community service (police, fire, mayor, etc)

Each class will be sent a link to a google doc with all names and addresses of
the classrooms in their group.

Each class needs to create (or purchase) enough cards to send ONE card
via postal mail to each class on your list.
(Teachers are responsible for all postage costs)

Our suggested theme this year will be LIGHTS.
(stars, lights, candles, menorah, etc)
Please visit our pinterest page -- as well as the resource page for ideas and samples. You are encouraged to have students create unique handmade cards - however, you understand your class dynamics so choose what works best for your students.

All classes need to insert the template (provided here) into each card or provide the information from the template somewhere in each card.
This template will enable you to easily share information about your school to the 29 other classrooms you are sharing cards with.

All cards will need to be mailed to the other classrooms by the 8th of December.
(If you are sending to a card outside of the continental US, you are encouraged to have your cards in the mail by Dec 5th.)

You also will be sent a link to an editable Google Presentation where you can add pictures from your classroom as they participate in this project.

NEW FOR 2014
Ho-Ho-Holiday Mystery Skype
If you would like to be paired with several other
classrooms to MYSTERY SKYPE - you will be able to indicate
that when you register.
(Read more about being in a Mystery Skype by clicking here)

Just A Reminder......
since this is a holiday card project,
it will be possible to receive all kinds of holiday cards
(of differing beliefs and customs).
If a school has certain "restrictions" --
the teacher will need to be the filter of these cards.

Registration Opens on November 5th, 2014.
Please triple check your email before you click SUBMIT --
If your email bounces, you will NOT be placed in a group.
Also -- please do not register anyone but yourself
- unless you have been given
permission to do so.
