Welcome to the "EVERYONE COUNTS" online project.

This project ran from February 1 to February 26, 2010 and was open to classrooms worldwide, grades K4 - 6th grade.

The main objective of this project was to introduce your students to information surrounding the upcoming 2010 US Census. However, if you are NOT in the US, you were welcome to adapt this project to ways your country counts its citizens. (please share that information with us at the NING.)

Be sure to check out the resource page for lesson plans, videos, and worksheets to use within your classroom as you share about the 2010 US Census.

Using the provided worksheet
(1 page version -- 2 page version)
you and your students needed take a census of your classroom and school.

Once the census data was collected, you posted your data to the provided form.

Data collected from all participants has been posted to the results page and a participant map will be created as well.

Teachers wereinvited to team up with other schools (using skype, email, etc) to share data as well. (please visit the NING group to find teachers who wish to pair up.)
