Today was a Starbucks morning……I have been trying NOT to do as many of those lately (grins)…..but today, with teachers and students on spring break, but I am at work…….it just seemed like a necessity to jumpstart my morning.

So I pulled through the drivethrough (I know, how pathetic) and ordered my drink (White Chocolate Mocha, NonFat, Light Creme, 140 degrees) and the pastry (which totally cancels out the nonfat/light creme) and waited my turn in line.

When I got to the window, I was told that the person in the car before me had paid my bill.  WOW, I had noticed the car but had not really paid attention to it…..but knew that I did NOT know the person in the car.

So — grins — I decided to pass it on, and I paid for the person behind me.  And as I was driving out — one of the employees came out to my car and said that the person behind ME paid for the person behind HER.  I also saw the car that was being driven by the person who had purchased my drink — so I was able to wave a “THANK YOU” too.

We might have started a ripple……..who knows?  But it made this morning a bit more special.  A Random Act of hmmmm “Starbucks”??

Smiles — so I urge you — do something unexpected today — and then come share about it.

Jen

Just as an add on — as I was telling my boss about this today — she led me to this site: http://www.pantagraph.com/arti.....510458.txt

    Happened in December 2006.

What a nice way to pass on the happiness. It’s contagious. There are so many different ways we can add to other people’s happiness. Just your sharing the story made my day.
